Born and raised in the valley. Watching this city grow into something special — one championship at a time.
Las Vegas has always been more than a destination — it's home. Born and raised in the valley, I grew up watching this city evolve from a place the sports world overlooked into one of the most exciting sports markets in the country.
"I didn't just watch Las Vegas grow up. I grew up with it."
Long before the Golden Knights raised the Stanley Cup and before the Raiders made Allegiant Stadium the hottest ticket in the NFL, Las Vegas had its own sports culture — and I was part of it.
As a kid, the Runnin' Rebels of UNLV were everything. Jerry Tarkanian built something legendary in the desert, and that program gave Las Vegas its first real taste of national sports relevance. Those teams played with an edge that matched this city perfectly.
And then there were the Las Vegas Stars — our Triple-A baseball team that called Cashman Field home for years. For a lot of us who grew up here, that's where our love of baseball was forged. Dusty bleachers, summer nights, and the crack of the bat echoing downtown. Baseball in Las Vegas has always had a soul.
So when the news broke that the Oakland Athletics were relocating to Las Vegas and bringing Major League Baseball to our backyard — I felt it in my gut. This is the moment this city has been building toward. I wanted to be part of documenting it from day one, from someone who actually lives here, drives past the construction site, and has skin in this community.
MLBathleticslv.online is not a corporate outlet. It's not generated by an algorithm. It's a Las Vegas native sharing something genuine — the excitement, the updates, the history, and the pride of watching our city finally get its Major League moment.
To be the most authentic, local voice covering the Las Vegas Athletics from the ground up. Stadium construction updates you can only get from someone who lives nearby. Real fan perspective. No filler.
Whether you're a lifelong A's fan, a Las Vegas local curious about what's coming, or a baseball fan excited about the league's newest chapter — this site is for you.
